SoCA Media Equipment Loans
The School of Creative Arts maintains an inventory of media equipment that can be borrowed by students currently enrolled in SoCA courses. There is no fee to borrow most of the equipment and we do accept reservations for future dates. The standard loan period is one, two or three days however longer loan periods may be granted with instructor or staff permission.
All equipment must be picked up by the person who made the equipment request. Please have your UFV ID ready when you come to pick up the equipment.
Bookings are limited to 48 hours Monday-Friday, and Thursday – Monday, Friday-Tuesday range.
Winter 2026 Booking Hours (January – April 2026)
Monday: 9:30 am – 4:30 pm
Tuesday: 9:30 am – 4:30 pm
Wednesday: 9:30 am – 4:30 pm
Thursday: 9:30 am – 4:30 pm
Friday :9:30 am – 4:30 pm
Closed on weekends and Holidays
Notice will be given on sign by the door if out of office for more than 10 minutes (estimated time of return)
